File Conversion Data
- What We Collect: Files you upload for conversion are transmitted through Cloudflare to our self-hosted Parsyra conversion service. The service writes each source to a temporary file, converts it, and deletes that temporary file immediately afterward. We do not store source files or log their contents. From URL mode fetches the public address you provide through our proxy. High-accuracy OCR for scanned PDFs sends the source document to our conversion service, where Parsyra renders document images and sends them to an AI Vision provider for recognition.
- Purpose: The Parsyra online converter uses temporary server-side processing so it can provide consistent Parsyra output across browsers and devices.

Saved Conversion Results
- What We Collect: If you explicitly choose "Save result" while signed in, we store the generated Markdown text along with its title and source file name (not the source file itself) in your private workspace.
- Purpose: To let you resume, edit, and download your results across devices. You can rename or permanently delete any saved result at any time from your Saved Conversions page.

Payment Information
- What We Collect: When you purchase a paid plan, our payment provider (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We receive only limited billing information, such as your subscription status and the brand and last four digits of your card — never your full card number.
- Purpose: To process payments, manage subscriptions, and provide billing support.
Data Storage and Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously. The data we collect is stored securely on our servers, and we implement a variety of security measures including encryption and access controls to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
How the Converter Protects Your Documents
Parsyra uses a short-lived server-side conversion pipeline. If you are evaluating Parsyra for use with confidential material (client financials, internal reports, compliance documents), these are the facts that matter:
- Temporary processing: Files are sent over HTTPS to our self-hosted Parsyra service, written to a temporary file, converted, and deleted immediately after conversion. We do not retain the source file or log its contents.
- No source-file storage: Nothing is added to your account unless you click "Save result". That action stores only the generated Markdown and its title, never the source document.
- OCR and URL handling: From URL mode fetches the public URL you provide through our proxy. High-accuracy OCR sends the data needed for recognition to an AI Vision provider over HTTPS; provider processing is governed by that provider's data policy. The source file is processed temporarily by our conversion service and deleted after conversion.
- Payments never touch our servers: Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider.
- Encryption in transit: All traffic between your browser and our services is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties, except in the following circumstances:
- To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.
- To provide services through trusted third-party partners who assist us in operating our website or conducting our business, subject to confidentiality agreements. These include our payment processor (Stripe) for handling payments and subscriptions, along with the authentication and analytics providers used to sign you in and understand aggregate usage.
